Witness Wilderness Shabbaton

June 17-19, 2005.

For the sixth year, Adam va-Adamah held its Wilderness Shabbaton in the beautiful Elaho Valley June 17-19, 2005.

We arrived before Shabbat and set up camp and enclosed it with an eruv.  Despite the rain, we enjoyed Shabbat and

the physical closeness to all of Hashem's creation.  The Uts'am Witness Program, sponsored by the Squamish First

Nation, joined us at the campsite and we shared insight from our traditions, including Havdalah  after Shabbat.

The rain cleared by Sunday morning and we returned home, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
